Kids Klub Site Coordinator Posted 8/18/08
VCS seeks a creative and energetic individual to lead the Before School Kids Klub Program at Indian Lake Elementary from 6:00-9:00 AM, 16 hours per week. The successful candidate will coordinate appropriate activities for school-age children (BK-5), ensure DHS regulations are followed, and work well with others as team. Must demonstrate good decision making skills and possess a solid understanding of child development. Must be 21 years of age and possess a Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree in a child-related field. An AA also requires at least 480 hours of documented experience working with children in a public school, internship, or licensed child care center. VCS seeks energetic and hard-working assistants to work in our Before and After School Kids Klub Program with elementary aged children from 7:00-9:00 AM at Tobey or 3:00-6:00 PM at Indian Lake Elementary. Substitutes are also needed. Must demonstrate willingness to get CPR/First Aide Certified and participate in on-going professional development. B4K Bus Aide Posted 08/18/08
The B4K Preschool Program seeks a bus aide to ride the bus with preschool-aged children from 11:15-12:15 PM Monday-Thursday on school attendance days only. Must be able to lift young children in/out of car seats and buckle them in car seats as necessary. Good communication with bus drivers, parents, children, and program staff are essential components to be part of this program. Position would begin on Monday, September 29. The pay is $7.50/hour.
