MARK YOUR CALENDAR....Vicksburg Annual Alumni Breakfast sponsored by the Vicksburg Lion's Club

It is not too early to mark your calendar for the Annual Alumni Breakfast. All graduates from VHS that have celebrated 50 years since graduation and their guests are invited. The class of 1958 will be the honored guests this year and the class of 1957 will be hosting the event.

The breakfast will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 with registration and fellowship from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and breakfast from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The location for the breakfast will be at the Vicksburg Recreation Area located at 12542 Sprinkle Road (on the west side of the road about 1/2 mile north of the BP Gas Station, which is on the corner of Sprinkle and V Avenue).

Last year there were over 300 people in attendance. The food is wonderful and the time spent visiting with classmates and friends is priceless. Registration forms, with the cost of breakfast, will be sent out June 1, 2008. The caterers need a final count 2 weeks before the breakfast, so the deadline for registration is July 1, 2008.

The Vicksburg Lion's club sponsors this community event every year and does a wonderful job. They furnish and set up the tables, chairs, tents, stage and anything else the host class needs to put this breakfast on. Bob Rainwater has very graciously furnished the sound system and does a marvelous job of setting everything up for the breakfast program.

This Annual Alumni Breakfast grows larger every year and the feedback is always very positive. So 'Mark Your Calendar', plan to attend and you can count on having a great time.
